id go for the electric one, the acoustic one is more ”strict” and since recently all that u hear is basically rock , i reccomend u to try it out with electric ones
Electric is easier to play but requires a amp
Acoustic is a little harder to play
I would choose based upon the music that I wanted to play, not which one is harder
The differences between the 2, in term of which is harder can be over came in just a short period of time
Learn on an acoustic; if you are serious about playing, it will tighten your chops and if you ever want to play an electric, it will be much easier for you.

I would go for an electric guitar. I have a Fender Squire. They are a really good guitar.
