Oh, I also felt I should point out that the DVD offer mentioned at the end of the lesson is worth it. I was skeptical at first but opted to try it because I felt that my “self teaching method” using books and other You Tube lessons was a little too disjointed. Dave, Tim & the rest of NLG are great teachers, and the DVD’s put everything in an easy and fun “step by step” plan that you can digest at your own pace.
Yeah, I’m kinda torn between the two myself. The chords used: C F G are a classic I-IV-V progression, but the Am is the relative minor of C major, so I’m not sure if you’d consider the progression to be in the key of Am, or C Maj, because wouldn’t you simply play it as a A major if it were in the key of C??

AMaj has an F# a G# and a C# in the scale, so Aminor would be used in the key of C or Am.
