I’m assuming you want to learn?

There are thousands of ploys to get you to learn guitar. In today’s day in age, the most economical and productive way to learn is online. But you also need to be very selective in how you choose the right site. Learning online is great for those who are motivated to “self-teach” because you will get the right information to help you teach yourself.

I wrote a blog post recently addressing this very issue. Check it out!

I had a friend who played guitar and they told me to look up tabs for songs. I looked up what a guitar tab was, and absolutely couldn’t read it. I spent months just learning to read them. When I finally figured it out, I went on to find the tab of an easy song. I just went from there, as I started to play that song nearly perfectly, I would move on to a slightly harder song, and keep going with this. Soon, I could play pretty well. But, then I decided it’d be pretty helpful if I knew how to read music notation, and know the notes on a guitar. I took a class at school to learn how to read music. The most important thing to remember is that even if it gets hard, don’t give up. Everyone had to start at the bottom at some point. Some songs may be harder than others, keep practicing them! You’ll get it eventually. Also, if your school offers any music classes, take them! You will not regret it, and they will help you! If there are any clubs at your school, join. The people in the clubs would be more than happy to help you.

    Good luck!
